Indictment for Google's wireless snooping will be heard in Court of Law on 22.9.14
Next Monday 22th September 2014 Google España legal representative will be heard in Madrid Juzgado de Instrucción 45. Since 2010 Google is accused by APEDANICA, CITA and expert cryptologist Eng. Miguel Gallardo in order to protect private residential networks from snooping by Google. After more than 4 years, the Court is now hearing.
APEDANICA is mentioned at “Investigations of Google Street View” published at http://epic.org/privacy/streetview/
On June 13, 2010, Spanish data protection watchdog group APEDANICA filed a criminal complaint against Google in the Police Court of Madrid. In the complaint, APEDANICA president Miguel Gallardo rejects Google's assertion that private Wi-Fi data collection resulted from a mistake, arguing that something carefully programmed and done in thirty countries could not have been a mistake.
Many articles about APEDANICA were published then, like this in The New York Times
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/18/technology/18google.html?_r=0
17/8/2010 - A court is investigating charges that Google broke Spanish law while gathering ... The Spanish association of Internet users, whose acronym is Apedanica, contends that Google violated an article in Spain's criminal code that forbids the unauthorized interception and collection of such communications data.
In some days, weeks and months to come APEDANICA will face a complex and expensive judiciary approach to the real facts and Google illegal objectives snooping private wireless network because public prosecutor attorney in Spain (fiscal representante del Ministerio Público) blindly trust Google. At the moment, our only kind sponsor for a 3.000 € down payment prior to accept the criminal judiciary proceeding of APEDANICA against Google is Mr. Antonio Durán, CEO and owner of the well known business specialized on professional electronic devices “La Tienda del Espía” in Madrid.
